Summary:
24:37 - Mar 2019 Act IV - Ted York's Cajon Pass (2019)
Description:

Ted York loves the late steam era with its mix of big steam and first generation diesels. That combined with Ted's fascination for the Santa Fe Cajon Pass results in a very authentic early 50's replica of this famous southern California location in miniature.

I liked the video but missed a closer view of the layout throughout your basement.  What was shown was terrific with all the hand layed trackwork and scenery.  Thank you for sharing this video.

Please elaborate -- what exactly were you hoping to see?

I've always loved Ted's railroad and have followed it for years.  I agree that you did your job, Ted, I think that you achieved the rivet counting thingy!! :-)

Best, Andy Keeney

I think Ted hit the spot dead on when he mentions "does it feel right".  A possible new mantra going forward to establish how far do you want to take your modelling.  Kind of a blend of "good enough", rivet counting, craftsman kits, RTR, and "model railroading is fun".   If it feels right, carry on. If not, tweak some stuff. "Does it feel right", such a personal "report card"  that is just for you.

Cheers,

Steve
